Lifestyle change is not enough.

Changing your lifestyle is a great way to live your values and indicate to businesses how they should evolve, but it won't make enough of an impact on emissions to stop the climate crisis in the time we have. We need to put the onus back on governments and industry.

The earth can support billions, but not billionaires.

We know that the wealthiest people in the world tend to own the companies and systems of production that are accelerating the ecological crisis. But, their luxury consumption in private jets and superyachts also results in more emissions than entire nations.

We don't have time to waste.

The UN released a report in 2018 putting time pressure on the climate crisis. We have a finite amount of time to cut our emissions before we reach a temperature rise nearly impossible to come back from.

7 ways students can save the planet

Students understand that we have to look after the planet. But we have very little money to help us do that! In this video I show you seven ways that either don't cost much, or actually save you money, to reduce your environmental impact. In short: 1. Stop eating meat, or cut back 2. Reduce food waste 3. Cut down on energy inefficiency 4. Use public transport 5. Be a smart consumer 6. Recycle 7. Get engaged on campus Many thanks to https://www.exeterguild.org/greenunit/ for their help in writing this video :) ------ LINKS ------ 1.
